Have a question (No Drama) hehe!!
Now I know I've had some serious stress issues lately, and maybe that is my problem, but I'm finding it harder and harder to keep food down. It was just solids. I would eat and sometimes I would feel fine and other times it would come back up. Then All solids made me really nauseous no vomiting just blah. I went back to mushies and full liquids. Everything passes into the pouch fine. No difficulty swallowing at all, but within 10 to 15 min. It's coming back up. Last night I threw up my 2 Tbs of mashed potatoes. I am afraid to eat now. Does this sound like a stricture to you guys? I DO NOT want to call the Dr, again if this is just the normal healing process of RNY at 6 weeks out. Or if this is how pouches respond to lots of stress?
Anyhoo. Thanks in advance for any ideas or insight you can share. Oh, I've been drinking my protein and getting about 90 grams a day so no problem there! It's just food my pouch hates! LOL -Julie

OTOH, the guide also says that backwards progression is not normal and to call the office if that happens.
So my program would have you call the office but would also be reassuring that you don't *necessarily* have a problem.
